I’m having trouble relating to a lot of rappers my age. I guess that’s partly why I root for cats like TiRon. Having a solid pen game is a necessary pre-req. But writing lyrics people can identify with go a long way as well. He acknowledges his shortcomings that go beyond the travails of being a rapper and endears his vices without being annoying in the process. That last part is key since admitting your faults can border on complaining when done in excess. Fortunately TiRon knows how to play the balance beam between being human and helpless. He’s admitted to taking a few L’s in some of his songs but he keeps moving towards his aspirations at the end of the day.

At any rate Ronnie is always grinding with this weekend’s the Perfect Attendance showcase serving as his next stop. Get familiar with his fascination for condiments and read up on the man in the cafeteria line.
