The level of anticipation for Ski’s 24 Hour School has wavered from a butterflies-in-stomach effect to “believe it when I see it,” but as of right now, all skeptics should bow to the sensei because September 21st is the day the dojo will be opened.
Stripped to just eleven boards to break, Ski disciples should be familiar with the Rubbermaid flow of Rugz D. Bewler on “Super Bad” and the high political stance of $pitta & Smoke for the opener “Nothin’ But Us.” There’s also plenty of Stalley and a black belt showdown between Jean Grae, Jay Electronica and Joell Ortiz.
Through the course of this embattled release, some songs were hit with the ninja vanish. Light a candle and proceed to support the chosen ones.
Pre-Order: 24 Hour Karate School

24 Hour Karate School: Dare I say the illest title ever for a album? Can’t wait! ***Karate-chops wack albums & mixtapes to make space***
Yeah. He also said Mos Def wouldnt sign off on the songs he contributed to the project ( Cream of the Plantet, Taxi) So they would not appear on the album. However he did say that they would be released for free to coincide with the albums promotion. Its win-win but id rather hear them fully mastered and of album quality…especially Taxi. Nonetheless Im pretty excited for this album.
Whoopish Whoopish
Hahahahaa TC’s word play is so waaaa-chaa!!
scaling the building is some tough ass shit….this shit should be insane
I’ve had most of these songs for hella long tho! At least put new shit on it if it’s gonna only be 11 tracks…
24 Hour Karate School Is Eleven Songs Deep

So you mean I basically have this album already?… $#&?!!!!
All the stuff from this that’s leaked/been officially released as promotion/whatever so far has been awesome, I have high expectations for this and will prolly actually pay cash money to support it (even though I assume the money will go to Dame and Ski and the other artists involved will never see a dime- once a carny, always a carny).
Although I was underwhelmed by her track on the last Cookin Soul tape, Jean seems to be stepping it up again as of late, good to see her on here. Stalley has been ruling all year. And of course Spitta is always good to see. Great guest list. Kind of expected a second Jim Jones track seeing how involved he’s been w/Creative Control.
Disappointed the Mos tracks aren’t on there, but that’s an easy fix if you already have the MP3s. I know there’s the two on here, but there was also “24 Hour Karate School” and one more track I w/Jay Elec and Curren$y that I seem to remember…
i don’t understand why Mos would record the songs, then not sign off on them. Is that because he just didnt like the outcome…or because of label politix?
A shame that the Mos tracks aren’t on it. But I am excited to finally hear it. I can’t remember who said it and I am too lazy to scroll up; but I do agree he could have added some new tracks to the final project.
Why isn’t Mos Def signing off on the songs?
‘cinderblock karate chop practice in the dojo’

lmafo
fun-ny SHIT!
“Nothing But Us” is some epic shit… no exaggeration. I’ve been waiting over a year for this joint, and it looks like it’ll actually be in my hands in a few weeks. Ski is the dopest producer in the game right now, hands down.
In the Ski’s Ustream the other day, he stated that he’ll drop the Mos Def tracks for free via online….
….so don’t get angry and bomb the Dojo.
I am disappointed the Mos Def tracks we’re dropped… oh well. (*googles “Cream of The Planet” & “Taxi” mp3′s*)
damn no mos but i can live with spitta wiz and some stalley and of course a couple of doobies in the tray lol
