Git Up, Git Out & Git This Cee-Lo Green Mix
MUSIC By J. Tinsley on July 26, 2010 at 8:36 pmThe best way to describe Cee-Lo Green? Living legend. Those two words summarize everything there is to possibly know about the man who helped put Goodie Mob on the map and Gnarls Barkley at the Grammys. The music’s as soulful, as it is catchy. More importantly, it is timeless, just as it’s progressive. Picking a favorite song from ‘Lo is clinically impossible, so when you run up on opportunities like this, it’s best to take advantage of them while the getting is good.
Thanks in part to Oakland’s own DJ Dmadness, here lies a list of 44 tracks which should do the trick.
A new mix drawing from the catalogs of Goodie Mob, OutKast, Gnarls Barkley, Cee-Lo’s solo albums, his collaborative work, and of course rare remixes, b-sides, soundtrack joints and 12″s. Aside from the entire Organized Noize/Dungeon Family there are records with Pharrell, Common, Estelle, Kelis, Jack Splash, Da Ranjahs, Eightball & MJG as well as productions from Kanye West, Timbaland, Menahan Street Band, DJ Premier and more.
This, my friends, is how you close a month out. Download. Enjoy. Play it anywhere (even if you have most/all the tracks already). I know I will.

SUGAR BABY SHAWTY LO CANT GO WRONG WITH THIS GUY
@DJ Madness thanks!
Thumbs up
now I like “mixtapes” like this and LOVE some sugar-lo but seriously, you are NOT a Dj if you just blend one track to the next. I do mixtapes all the time, more of compilations and blend tapes, but I respect the DJ’S who put in work enough to not put “DJ” in front of VSOP. I do it more for the love of music and to hook people up with some dope tracks on one tape.
DJ JAMAD! hes a Dj……props on the time though it took to put this together—jus had to throw in my 2 cents
DJ Madness, thanks, will be playing this on my trip!
Does anyone have the ”love gun” track he did with Laurenn Bennet?
does anyone have the “haapy hour” album he did with jazzy pha?
