An upbeat, feel good song with words of wisdom is so much better than some typical club banger. I’m all for a good shit show over an ignorant backdrop once in a while, but if I can cruise the whip after work listening to something that fits my mood and my situation, then it’s that much better. Rich Kid Sound System’s “A Little Bit Of Time” fills that slot.

Over a limitless layout of throwback lounge rock, Roland claps and arpeggiated bubblers, this working man’s open letter to naysayers says “go f**k yourself” with a smile. The first single – and quite possibly the first song – from upstart Floridian duo of Q and Leo, show these two longtime experienced behind-the-scenes musicians are ready to take their carefree concoction of genres to the next level with their still-untitled first album.

If this superbly designed blueprint to success is only the first song they’ve unleashed, the rest have potential to give them all the time they’ll need to make more delightfully dope tunes like this.
