Str8 Killa has murdered my desire to listen to anything but Freddie Gibbs for a long time. To whet your palette for the dopeness heading your way on August 3rd, here are some visuals for “National Anthem.” It’s what you’d expect from Gibbs: flashy jewelry, expensive cars, and half-naked chicks.

April Fool’s.

This is the Gibbs we’ve all come to respect: no extra garnish, just grit. The video actually makes a poignant message about the parallels between the streets and the plantation. The song is one of the strongest from the EP and these may be the best visuals Freddie has offered so far.

MTV, where art thou?
