Well isn’t this interesting? Nike somehow got Three Stacks to cover The Beatles’ “All Together Now” for a commercial celebrating Kobe’s legacy as a Laker. While the visuals get you prepared for the Finals, the song only gives me hope knowing that André has sniffed the inside of a studio sometime recently.
However, I can’t help but reflect upon an article I read about his and Big Boi’s tension right around when Speakerboxx/The Love Below dropped. At the time, 3000 didn’t want to do endorsements for Coke because it didn’t feel right or something, leaving a whole lot of money on the table. But now he’s doing Nike commercials? I wonder how Big feels about all of this.
But that’s neither here nor there. Let’s throw up some peace signs, get the lava lamp cranked up and get ready to watch some basketball.
