Woohoo! My dude Pill got with Court Dunn to do the visuals for “Hear Somebody Comin” as a part of the One Shot Series with NahRight. While Pill Cousy dishes lyrical paranoia, the talented Mr. Dunn managed to produce a treatment that’s impactful and unique as always. Alfred Hitchcock would be proud @ the suspense management done by both parties.

This might be my favorite track from the mixtape
^^probably a close second to ‘let me in’ for me, but def a standout
vid is cool but it’s not touching Trap Goin Ham visually or conceptually
Hi, ThisIsntVietnamThereAreRules. First off, nice handle. Second, “Let Me In” is genius. I’m not impressed very often by music because there’s such an overload of crap that hip-hop aficionados have to filter through, but I think between ‘Glass’ and ‘Let Me In’, Pill is a future hip-hop heavyweight. Music is subjective and regionally influenced, but this guy has the energy and hustler attitude to captivate the masses. He reps ATL, but he’s in a burgeoning environment that churns out commercial appeal (Young Jeezy, Gucci Mane, Luda, and especially T.I) And Pill is lyrically real, unlike *cough* other rappers, and I think our entire music culture is shifting over to the ‘real shit’ instead of the fake ‘I will shoot you in the face and fuck yo bitch” stuff that has saturated radio waves.
This is all an opinion, but I respect this musician! (had to make one rhyme. I’m on a hip-hop site, so yeah).
This was one of my favorites off the tape too. Anyone else like “Gymnastics” (the 2 Dope Boyz freestyle) or am I alone on that one?
@ Nick
Jeezy may not be the best Lyricst, but you can fuck with his music. Same goes with TIP.
Pill!
pill ight
YEA pill a dog on any track the visuals made it way better dopeness Grind Time Rap Gang bang bang bang
@ Sam C. I dug that track too, but Bun B went in on that instrumental too shortly thereafter, and i’ve been mostly fucking with that.
“Too” as in Bun also went over the instrumental, not that he did it “too soon”. Just clarifying!
