It’s taken him a few years, but Andrew Bogut may finally be turning into the player the Bucks drafted first overall in 2005. The past few weeks the guy has seemingly been a double-double waiting to happen. Last Friday, I stumbled upon great seats to the Bucks/Wizards game. Granted the home team was horrible, but the beer was good and seeing Bogut play in person leads me to believe he will be an All-Star in 2011. If BJ3 progresses as expected, the Bucks could really be looking at one of the league’s most promising 1-2 combos.

As for Glen Davis, well, I can’t say I’m not happy he got dunked on. I’ve been salty towards everything Boston Celtics related since Paul Pierce proclaimed himself the best player on the planet after their title run. Whatever California chronic he was smoking when he said that, feel free to pass the dutchie to the left. The best thing about this dunk though? The stumble afterwards. It’s like it happened in slow motion. Where’s the “And 1” guy with the horn when you need him?

After going from dorm room duo to the Internet’s favorite band to Grammy-nominated in less than four years, the enigmatic members of electronic powerhouse MGMT return from tasting the fruits of labor with their first expression of Congratulations, their highly-anticipated upcoming sophomore release.

While not as immediately engaging as Oracular Spectacular‘s two lead singles, “Flash Delirium” spotlights the twosome’s encompassing throwback-feel, in general, instead of the formulaic and infectious bassline or melody that carried the last batch. Some would say it’s a ‘grower,’ but I’m going to dig deeper and say it’s the first sign of an already successful band taking strides to show they’re not one-sided (Think “Buddy Holly” to “El Scorcho“).

Which – depending on your thoughts regarding their 16-bit album cover – may or may not be a good thing.

He starred alongside Spitta in their latest visual and Mo’ G warned us all to watch out for Nesby Phips. And look where we are right now, with new music from the guy. “Early Bird (Finally)” is set up for success thanks in part to the beat. Reminds me of something straight out of a 1920′s speakeasy. Had I ever been around to go to a 1920′s speakeasy. Regardless, Phips uses the relaxing and hypnotizing creation to win over new fans. He evens warns you his “race is somewhat of an acquired taste.” So, if you’ve got to, feel free to give it a few spins to let it marinate.

Now for the $6M dollar question, the release date? Nesby’s The B-Side: Phipstape is set to invade speakers soon, with my guess being sometime this spring. But, I’ve been wrong before, so take it for what it’s worth.

We’ve all seen and love the E-trade commercials. During the Super Bowl, we witnessed and laughed at the “Milkaholic” commercial where the E-trade baby’s girlfriend asks if “that milkaholic Lindsay wasn’t over?” Here’s the commercial for those that aren’t familiar.

Apparently, Lindsay Lohan thinks this “Lindsay” is a slick attempt to make fun of her, so she’s suing E-trade for $100 million. It’s possible that E-trade was making reference to Lohan, but it’s more likely that the commercial would rather poke fun at a celebrity.

Lindsay just needs to watch the commercial again. She made a simple mistake, but she shouldn’t feel bad because I made the same mistake of thinking the commercial said “anorexic cokehead” instead of “milkaholic” the first time I saw it, too.

Truthfully, I don’t think even Big Boi has a concrete reason why this project has the molasses effect simmering from its innards.
