Here’s my entry. 9th is in my top 5 producers and I would say 3:16 is a definite classic. Peace!
born and raised in LA and have never had the chance to see Murs live….would be amazing to be a part of this great event…and plus my girlfriend is a dark skinned white girl
Why do I want to go? Let’s see…Saw Murs (hair and all) at El Cholo in LA (classic Mexican spot) at the valet stand. Said What up and he was way chill. As he got in his Mercedes with his girl, me and my friend said, “Murs for President!” and he laughed and drove away.
Plus, when I finally found out I was accepted to go to school in LA (from the Midwest), first song I bumped was Murs’ “L dot A dot Californ-I-A hot, days got shade let me take you round the way…”
Long story short, dude is dope, 3:16 lived on repeat in my car, and 9th wonder drops beats for days. Lemme know!

hA, went to a Living Legends show back in 02 or so. MURS was selling his CD that included a marker….So is this gonna be held at the FireCracker? haha!!!!
I’ll give u a couple reasons:
1.) Because I KEEP Murray’s Revenge/3:16/Sweet Lord on heavy rotation
2.) Because I’m not in anyway affiliated with the industry, so i need a break!

Living Legends was the first hip hop show I ever saw…after that, I was hooked and discovered so much good music.
MURS IS LA Hip Hop. Never sold out. Still doing it the way it is MEANT TO BE DONE!
And 9th Wonder IS the future of Hip Hop Production…living in the present, pioneering the future, but staying true to the tradition (DJ Premier, Pete Rock, J Dilla).
