In a recent interview with MTV, Gym Class Heroes’ front-man Travis McCoy said his upcoming album Lazarus is “music to have a good time to.” Seeing as I’ve downloaded, playlisted and repeatedly grooved shamelessly to the first single “Billionaire,” I’d like to approve the Nappy Boy’s message. Chock full of fantasies we all wish for daily, Travie (as he’d now like to be referred to as…) and Bruno Mars deliver a lighthearted and Reggae-inspired wish list fit for a billionaire, through the impassioned wide-eyes of an everyman. Reinforcing, of course, some goals are never to lofty.
Still, I think we’d all settle for being a measly millionaire.

I kinda like this one… it’ll probably grow on me.
Travie = Drake with an emo-rock twist
travis wishes he could rap like diddy.
Trav has a good shot to do well. That everyman appeal gets him over.
ok i’ve been a fan of GCH for the past 5 years…and i’m pretty bias to everything they release….i loved this song upon first listen…but after a few more listens and starting to listen to the lyrics, it just ruined it…the lyrics are so stupid
some dude used this blast this joint almost every day when I was at Atlantic last semester.. figured it was off the GCH album..
Shots fired @ Katy Perry? lol.
great song…post worthy for sure.
This song is dope.
Rick Ross’ “Billionaire” >
This song is amazing, it’s nice to hear an artist as talented as Travie and Bruno Mars make a song about the things we as “non-celebrities” would wish for if we could be billionaires, instead of the song talking about the money they already have and whatever else all artists these days are talking about.
and I would never compare Drake, or shall I say Aubrey to Travie. ATLEAST Travie can write for himself and not have Lil’ Wayne writing for him, Drake should stick to Degrassi and R&B he’s no rapper.
THIS SONG IS SO AWSOME I LOVE IT
Thanks for your link download :)
I agree Katherine, I love how they made a song about the common folk.
I love this pic of Travie McCoy! Also enjoyed the video interview of Bruno! ( http://bit.ly/bYnper )
