second in seed as of now but the Nuggets are a better team right now. And shown no signs of letting off the gas. They’ve won their last 4 outta 5 games w/o not only their leading scorer but the NBA’s leading scorer. Could the Lakers win a game if Kobe was out even a quarter? As of right now the Lakers are better on paper but you are looking at the best team in the WEST! This coming from a dude who lives nowhere close to CO.

first and formost i was born and raised in denver, but live in southern california where i cant stand all these kobe stans.
but, i believe it is chauncey, not carmelo, that is the glue to this nuggets squad. i think last night shows a perfect example of how the nuggets can have no one that is getting buckets and still win the game by getting stops on D. Look at the nugs before the chauncy deal and they were struggling. don’t get me wrong, carmelo is a beast and is putting up ridiculous numbers this year, but there is a lot to say why the nuggs are 4/5 without melo, and his name is mr big shot.
but, the lakers blowwww without kobe, hell they suck even when pau is not playing.
