JD Steals Ideas

By Beware / 02.18.10

Creativity be damned.

Reaffirming the term “nothing is sacred” like a rapist reiterates birth control, Janet Jackson’s ex is telling MTV that he’s covering Quincy Jones’ classic R&B posse cut, “Secret Garden (Sweet Seduction Suite).” Since Al B Sure, James Ingram, El DeBarge and Barry White (whose verse will be left unscathed) weren’t available for a simple remix, JD has enlisted Robin Thicke, Trey Songz and Usher as their replacements for this reworked alliance of love. Beyond the obvious cincy-ness, this sounds like a hit on paper.

Still, Lil’ Jermaine’s probably hoping our ears haven’t healed from the “We Are The World” remake, so we can’t fully comprehend anything audible and give him our money anyways.

But if you think they can top this bad boy, you’re probably wrong.
