After literally years of wondering when Citizen Cope was going to put a plug in the acoustic sets and record some new material, I was pleasantly surprised to finally stumble upon a fresh single from this nappy-haired vessel of vehemence this morning. From his upcoming Rainwater LP, “Healing Hands” finds Clarence Greenwood delivering yet another sonically-soaked session of subtle instrumentation and heart-drenched dialogue that’s sure appease longstanding fans like myself that copped this now-renown artist’s first album from a one-dollar bargain bin in 2002.

love this guy
^no homo
been listening to dude since 1st year of med school (2005); he’s definitely the truth. His first album is a dope listen, front to back
all 3 of his previous albums are worth copping. had been wondering why this cat had been flying under the TSS radar. this album is just as good as the others. perfect placement of “Sideways” in Ghost Town.
Been a fan for a while too, definitely a skilled artist who hasn’t yet gotten the commercial success he deserves. Middle-class white college kids aren’t a bad demographic to have though.
I think this album dropped on Feb 9th. snagged on itunes.
shit is crack gettin that album NOW
