Despite the obvious snub for Album of the Year, Ms. Knowles-Carter set a new Grammy record with six *mouths six* Awards won by a female artist in a single night. It definitely gives her bragging rights over her hubby who snagged two gramophones in the process, but also adds padding to my argument that I Am… Sasha Fierce is indeed her finest effort. The record-breaking accolades are as follows:
Best Contemporary R&B Album: I Am… Sasha Fierce
Song of the Year: “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)”
Best R&B Song: “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)”
Best Female R&B Vocal Performance: “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)”
Best Female Pop Vocal Performance: “Halo”
Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance: “At Last”
And you know she had to show her ass on the main stage. Scurrin’ around without kneepads, mixing in a lil’ Jagged Pill and giving her wig the Tina Turner treatment. All in a day’s work for a diva.

I kinda boycotted the Grammy’s due to the fact that The-Dream was not nominated for anything. I personally believe Love vs Money was album of the year. But that’s just me.

In a year where Taylor Swift won the (used to be) pretigious album of the year, maybe it was just a down year, and in conjunction with Beyonce’s “celebrity”, made it possible for her to clean up with 6 awards.
I don’t know how to really feel about these grammy’s, I mean “On a boat” was nominated….
i only watched the wayne.em.drake.travis performance..i rather watch football..i was waiting to see Ochocinco catch a td and celebrate..nobody(heteromales) watches beyonce because of the singing..you dont sit through her video cause of her pipes..what the fuck was cbs censoring after 10 on a school night..and they didnt even cuss..they really fucked up eminems verse at the end..did you see taylor trying to rap-a-long and turn her head when the camera showed her as she messed up..woulda she still been lipsynching if kanye was there..AND what happened to the boycotting??

Damn B killed that performance! Plus she looking way to good as hell! Jay is my mans but it still baffles me to this day how he bagged such a great looking woman as B! As far as The Grammys I didn’t watch them because wasn’t feeling a lot of the nominations & people that should have got nominated but didn’t! Plus I was doing the same thing as Zay! Figured any performances I wanted to see I would catch her on the nets! Oh yea this last album wasn’t her best to just shows that there wasn’t to much competition as there should have been!
I don’t watch awards shows… unless it’s the Adult Film Awards or The Cannabis Cup. But congrats to Beyonce for cleanin’ up shop.

I dont think that we should be upset at the fact that taylor swift (PHILLY STAND UP) beat out beyonce for album of the year in two award shows….personally i think that country music is still more popular worldwide than R&B is….and most of the people that buy albums are more of the caucasian influence, than any other race….with that being said did mayer hawthrone get nominated for any award, (i really dont know cause i dont watch the grammys) im damn sure he didnt win any awards and we all agree that he is one of them most soulful R&B artist in the game right now.

Too bad everyone knows the Grammys don’t mean anything anymore. This bullshit further cements that fact. A lot of GREAT & more deserving talent got snubbed because a woman wants to oh so badly be remembered as a legend when most of her music only has a shelf life of 5-7 years. Knowing that she didn’t get and never received the “big ones” (record of the year and album of the year) is satisfying though lol. Still good to know money doesn’t buy EVERYthing lol
