While the majority of the talk right now centers around the ASG, let’s make note of a few quick things.
1. My Orangemen served arch rival Georgetown last night. That gives me braggin’ rights over my dad until the February matchup.
2. LeBron and Dwyane (and their respective teams) dueled last night with Cavs emerging victorious, eeking out a 92-91 victory (check the full highlights). Looking ahead towards MVP consideration, please make note that LeBron and co. have defeated Kobe, Durant, and Wade in a four-day span. And to LeBron’s highlight reel, add the above clip of him giving D-Wade the business with a vicious two-handed dunk.

That’s not a dunk on Wade, Wade came from the back and tried blocking and couldn’t connect. This was a great game though. James and co beat LA who’s playing the WORST ball I’ve ever seen them play as a team in years right now (Kobe with 2 broken fingers, and no one else caring to step up an dont get me started on their bench). Durant which is a one man team and Miama which is just Wade. Now even though the Cavs are just as one man as the rest of these teams, they have perfected their roles off of Lebron and not just spectating like the LAke sho and MIA.
Now if the Cavs could beat the Nuggets now the Celtics (who just got Garnet back) or Magic then I would be more impressed.

Jason – I’m tried and true and said it a million times over. As the game wound down, first person I called was my pops b/c that’s where the rivalry originates for me. My favorite unheralded baller from the lean years was Davey Thompson over Wallace. Wallace was a workhorse but Davey had hops.

Besides last nite , the wins are more impressive on paper.
Lebron still needs a Jamison/Troy Murphy type @ the 4 if this team is gonna make a run to the Finals.
Dunk on Wade? No sir. The win however was impressive. So is the way the Cavaliers are playing right now, especially without Mo Williams. They ballin right now. They deserve props.

But if theres one thing thats always made me shake my head about Lebron (and dont get me wrong, the dude is an amazing player), its the flopping to get calls (as if he doesnt get enough already) AND the super late look-away after he throws a pass.
