As she prepares for the January 26th release of The Sea, Corinne Bailey Rae recently filmed a Soundcheck interview session. In this short preview clip, she speaks on her favorite recent album (Dear Science) and being influenced by the music of The Rolling Stones, Sly Stone & Jimi Hendrix as well as the possibility of reinterpreting their music for album bonus tracks.

It took me awhile but I now really enjoy her music.

TV On The Radio is a really dope band by the way… They’re this all black Radiohead ish/Coldplay-ee type band. google ‘em.
