I been NT-lurking since ’02, and much, MUCH less these days as well.
I wonder if they archive ALL their threads. They’ve had some classic ones, most involving personal pics submitted by the NT community, some of which were Photoshopped, with hilarious results. Even funnier was the subsequent comments of the clowns who went in on said pics.
Yeah, what made NT work was that you didn’t necessarily have to go there to gawk at kicks. The topics covered were diverse, and the characters that took part in the discussions there were “unique”, to say the least, lol
While I’m in fewer discussions these days, the blk/red screen is still a part of my daily rotation and I suspect it will always be. I’ve tried to stop. didn’t work out lol. it’s like I have to go somewhere to get all my news, laughs, vids, etc. Why not one-stop shop?

The mods never bothered me but then again, I did do numerous transactions w/a majority of the original ones hehe. Honestly, how I’ve tried to model this place is similar to how the cooler ones handled misfits there. You let people do whatever as long as they aren’t being complete assholes, namecalling & shit. You warn & then you put’em on timeout for a while.

The General forum was time killer #1 for me. That along with music. Never was one much for commenting though. I loved that people used to always post the ESPN insiders as well. Hell, I bounced all over the place.

Shout out to everybody involved. The discussions on Twitter during the summer came to life. NT really has the talent to pull off a serious hip hop team.
There’s one website that I’ve visited every damn day since 2002. Niketalk. I can’t believe I’ve wasted days of my life over the past 8 years browsing NT. Neither can my wife lol. Sadly (not really) I don’t think I’ll stop anytime soon.
Seriously though, that joint is like the Wal-mart of the internet. Information about kicks, gear, technology, cars, music, sports, internet broads, the latest debutante sex tape and everything else worth anything on the web can be found there. What more could a dude ask for? Aggins even debate religion over there. Crazy.
