In many ways this track is mad late. At this point, Mistah F.A.B. is no stranger on the scene. He’s the dude from the Hyphy movement. He’s the guy who did the Twitter song. Maybe folks have heard him on a verse here and there, or maybe copped a mixtape. But the reality is the majority of the people who acknowledge his existence really don’t know where he came from and what he stands for.
I suppose every rapper has their story, but on some Hip-Hop shit, FAB comes from elements. From selling tapes on the streets, to earning his stripes freestyling (meaning skilled enough to improvise and genuinely come off the top) in ciphers and radio he built a rep from the ground up. When it comes to building an album he personifies balance. From his debut Son Of A Pimp Nig Latin to Da Baydestrian, the polarized line between substance and street meet, and the result is a major label deal, and diverse and loyal fanbase. Most of this is detailed on “How I Came Up,” the first leak off his upcoming Prince Of The Coast tape, which is set to drop on February 7th & to be followed up shortly by The Lost Back Pack. Sure you could just listen to the song below and get the gist. But to further drive home the point that Mistah FAB is not a punk, a preface was necessary. That’s what separates us from them.

definetly no keak da sneak ass nigga.
i always thought we was from D4L… you know the “laffy taffy” guys.
I’ve always respected TSS’s fresh but when it comes to the Bay yall leave a lot to be desired. Fabby’s debut album was Nig Latin, not Son of a Pimp.
^ word been sayin this around here for a while, step up the bay scope. There is a lot goin on in N. Califoolia. “Its more then Aggins shakin dreadlocks an ridin on chrome!”
Yeah, FAB doesn’t get a lot of shine @ all. Probably sucks to be more famous for knowing famous rap niggas than being a famous rap nigga yourself.
I call that Tila Teqancer.
