yo hakz75, why would you believe a rapper must follow a certain formula with regards to song length and chorus in their songs for it to be dope? The only reason that formula exists is because it works best on the radio and music television, and if he was really concerned with their preferences, he would cut out a lot of the content that stupid people can’t comprehend either. Joey doesn’t dumb shit down for anybody, if he wants to spit a continuous verse for five minutes straight, ain’t nobody tellin him he can’t. And when he does him and not just what’s marketable he makes better music, regardless of song and chorus length. I mean damn, the whole concept of being on an independent record label is based on the idea that artists should be free to make and control their own music, and not told what they can and can’t include in their songs by some corny ass middle aged white record exec who doesn’t know shit about hip hop and keeps a big chunk of the profit from your music
