I’ve got a problem. Give or take a few records, I’m a fan of DJ Khaled and the great majority of his catalog. And you know what? I don’t mind dude yelling nonsense over each song either. It’s quite funny and brings added hype to the compilation. That’s the point of a DJ right?

“Put Your Hands Up” is the second offering from Victory and touts the usual cast of characters. Furthering my belief that TM103 can’t hit shelves quick enough, Jeezy bats lead off and drops a few quotables then dips out. Plies addresses a supposed bounty for his life and how he plans to play peacemaker. Ross draws inspiration from 2Pac, claiming to spit the “realest shit he ever wrote.” I disagree, but it rides nonetheless. Schife finds himself relegated to hook duties and, of course, Khaled closes out with some words of wisdom.

All in all, pretty decent track and an honest attempt at crafting another hood anthem. He’ll never top this banger though.

Bonus: While you’re at it, take this one too because even I didn’t believe it was real at first.
