I’ll be the first to tell you I’m was never CuDi’s biggest fan. I even spoke against the quality of his debut album months ago. Over time, however, I’ve grown to appreciate the LP and respect the notion it’s certainly one of the better albums of 2009. “Pursuit Of Happiness” has even been on repeat for the past few weeks. What he may lack in actual rhyming skill, he more than makes up for with cadence and infectious melodies. Such is the case as with K.C.’s two-verse remix to UK electronica artist Dan Black’s first single, “Symphonies.” Sampling Rihanna’s “Umbrella,” the laid-back, yet triumphant feel of the record should garner a few spins on your iTunes.

With his showing here, CuDi once again proves he’s one of the doper feature artists in the game. Black’s North American album, UN, is set to hit shelves this summer.
