Jordan Brand sure loves riling the natives.
Barely a month after the Space Jams left people and stores in a tizzy, the Cool Grey XI’s have been confirmed for a 2010 Holiday release. With a whole year for anticipation to build, who knows what will go down this time around. I still remember my cousin & TC’s accounts of people squabbin’ over these in Eastland Mall (so much for changing the release date of J’s to Saturdays back then, lol).
I, for one, am ecstatic. I missed out on a deadstock pair of these last year on eBay and the seller straight disappeared. Say what you want about price, materials, quality and whatever else you can think of. If the opportunity arises (’01s or ’10s), I’m copping a pair.
I might have to break down and get a pair when they release early, otherwise I’ll have to hope for another Jordan Brand Miracle.
On top of that, the Cement III’s and Snakeskin XI Lows are also going to resurface this year. It’s gonna a busy and lucrative year for MJ.

I haven’t bought a pair of J’s in almost 3 years. 2010 is going to change that. There are waaaaaaaaay too many classics dropping to not scoop at least one or two pairs.
White/Cement IIIs are a must. Concord XIs are a must, as are the Cool Greys. And the supposed Infared VIs must be had, too.

I like the Cements & CG’s but I don’t like how the III’s Crease so bad. Plus those early ones are not comfortable by today’s standards.
