Cam’ron’s no-show was our gain when the Clipse performed on The Roots’ Variey Show Jimmy Fallon Show.  Draped in a Play Clothes varsity, “the best duo ever” (Pusha’s words, not mine) became a trio for the night with Black Thought filling in for Killa.  Maybe I had the video too small, but I didn’t even know it was Black until he opened his mouth, I just assumed he took the opportunity to grab a drink of water or something.

And after the tapes stopped rolling, they perforemed “Grindin’” with Thought once again throwing in a verse for good measure.

On the real, can The Roots get a variety show or something NBC?  Think something similar to The Sonny & Cher or Flip Wilson Show.  Sliding comedians and musicians in and out has some potential.  At the least, it couldn’t do any worse than Fallon or Leno’s shows.
