He doesn’t rap, but Carolina Panthers wideout Steve Smith might deserve a spot on that list. S² has always been the talkative type, so I knew with his nine catch, 157 yard spectacle last night he’d likely receive post-game interview interview honors.

After the usual thanking of God and crediting his teammates for an impressive victory over the Purple People Eaters, Steve saw to it to speak his mind on Vikings rookie defensive back, Benny Sapp. What came next was 20 seconds of quality television. C’mon, yall already know I’m a staunch supporter of trash talking.

This, my friends, is how you strip a person of their pride on national TV. And by “lil’ youngster”, I’m pretty sure that’s self-P.R. for “lil’ n*gga.” If Steve can get escape the league’s itchy trigger finger when it comes to handing out fines, I say this man get interviewed after every game.
