In Saturday’s game against Eastern Michigan, OSU’s junior swingman Evan Turner goes up for a dunk, gets fouled and lands awkwardly (to say the least). The result? While initial x-rays showed no damage, intensive tests done before he was allowed to leave the hospital turned up two broken vertebrae. Ouch!
Thankfully, he should recover fine and will only be sidelined for eight weeks.

ouch..
grant hill drinks sprite.
Damn. I kinda wish he could’ve held on to the rim longer.
Damn that was bad.
This is awful news for tOSU, which as a Michigan alumni, makes me thrilled. But I feel awful for Evan Turner.
Many would argue Turner is the best player in the Big 10 and a potential All-American. I would argue he’s the 2nd best player behind Michigan’s Manny Harris who puts up just as good numbers on a worse team… regardless, tough loss fo Ohio State.
