The Source was responsible for breaking soon-to-be legends in The Notorious B.I.G. and Common Sense, to name a couple. But since everybody is a rapper nowadays, it makes it a little difficult to determine the convincing from a caricature. Nevertheless, the show must go on and that’s where Real T@lk’s set begins. Jazzing from outside of Chicago in Peoria, IL, the latest Unsigned Hypeman’s project The Mo Better Mixtape takes on the premise from one of Spike Lee’s mo’ better movies and highlights on an aristocratic side of Hip-Hop the game is sorely lacking.

A wack, ugly cover does nothing to help your cause. After listening to the two tracks, I actually like what I’m hearing but damn that cover sucks. I would have just passed this shit up in the middle of the 50 mixtapes we all see a week.
