I think this track, JayElect’s song and the response of all these quality MC’s is a perfect example of what Scarface alluded to…there are two many fucking rappers, all eager to prove they are better than each other…rhyming on every beat they can find. Exclusive is almost extinct. JayElect is that rare artist who knows the value of being exclusive. It’s more than just a criminally animal Just Blaze beat. This dude’s choice worldview and almost ancient mindstate add a special color that just aren’t Joel Ortiz or Playboy Tre’s forte. By all means they got a right to rip it, but they are literally fooling themselves hopping on a JayElect beat…by the way JE, J.Cole and Curren$y are bubbling so hot under the radar, I’m really eager to see them put up or shut up in 2010.
