The rappers with the most persistance are the ones that deserve a shot to be heard. Bubbling under the radar (obviously due to MC overpopulation), Sulaiman represents Chicago as well as a dedication to Hip-Hop, producing lyrics and beats with the same amount of intensity.
Judging from the track “I’m Gone” which is set to appear on his fourth mixtape Black Ribbon, Hard Work!, the youthful spitta is set to make the project his breakout opus. An all-purpose cut on many accounts, the track could easily slide into the DJ’s club mix as well as the local radio station’s set list.
Chi-town! What’s going on now?

Heard this track yesterday and maaan it is fire! The quotables, the delivery and the production are on point. I could def see this playing in the club & coming through the speakers of cars passing by.
Sulaiman’s being doing his thing for awhile so I’m glad to see he’s getting some of the attention he deserves.
I’m looking forward to the new mixtape =)
Sulaiman is easily Chicago’s most slept on MC. Lots of great stuff coming out of our city, but if you keep your thumb on this city’s pulse, I promise you that he’ll become the heartbeat of Chicago’s hip hop in no time.
Go Suli Go.
I concur with the two statements above… & I live in Cali! Suli is my doode tho, so maybe my opinion is bias with a lil sprinkle of nepotism here n there. So what… I spit trill saliva… & Sulaiman has stepped his fresh up on the daily since I’ve known him… this all the fruition of his hard work! Word up to The Smoking Section for showing love!!
This what it iz… next dough neighbor shit goin hard. I’ll be bumpin this in my town no doubt.

I’ve heard a lot of Sulaiman’s music, but this is hands down his best song yet!
