That’s the the corner of Waverly and University Avenues. Follow the broad in the black hoodie and you’re headed up to the Hall of Languages right on the Quad.
That corner is only steps from the spot where only about 75-80 heads would show up for all kinds of solid Hiphop shows in the late 90s. One show was Mixmaster Mike, the X-Ecutioners, & GZA around this time of the year…probably a little earlier in December of ’99 I think. Show was probably 10-12 beans. SU is how big?!? Crazy stuff, but the kids booking shows with student union fees at that point held it down.
Also, hoops team is something this year…Wes is the truth.
