This past Christmas, there was one amongst us that was infinitely more glee than the rest. This guy not only escaped from prison and had his holidays in freedom. He also spent his time on the run taunting police on Facebook to applause and advice of thousands.
An escaped prisoner has taunted police by posting messages on Facebook. Craig Lynch vanished from Hollesley Bay Prison in Suffolk in September, close to the end of a seven year sentence for aggravated burglary. –Mirror
Now while this charming fellow, Mr. Lynch, is no Frank Abignale Jr. , he is probably more likened to a beaten up Bodie walking out of juvenile detention thanks to the judicial system that put this clown in an “Open Prison” for aggravated burglary.
Now he’s busy setting up fan pages and taking advice from Facebook friends and police are twiddling their thumbs trying to catch him.
Grab some popcorn and find a good seat. The show is about to get interesting.

I have and know plenty of people behind the wall and its funny the more freedom they get (i.e. less supervision, minimal security) the more likely they are to abuse that shit…But I’d walk right out the door if they left it open too.
Dude just needs to enjoy his 15 min, get as much sympathy coochie as possible, because he WILL BE GOING BACK it’s just a matter of time.
i like how he waited until near the end of the seven year sentence to do this. hmmm. My money says he gonna get caught.

It’s just sad that people think that they’re rebelling against the system by cheering for criminals to remain at large. Is it because he “only” committed aggravated burglary? If he was a convicted rapist, would they still cheer him on?
And this is why the majority of people in prison are there in the first place–they’re not the brightest people.
Escaping near the end of your sentence? DUMB. Dude WILL get caught and what he doesn’t realize is that the longer he’s out and making the authorities look like idiots, the longer his sentence for Escape will be.

He probably was only able to escape near the end of his sentence because that’s generally when you get moved to open prison to try and get you ready to return to society…he just returned a bit soon.
