I think the difference between this year and last year for the Ravens is actually very small. The Ravens were a good team last year that caught a few fortunate breaks. Sure, their defense isn’t as outstanding this year but their offense has improved (if you ignore the Indy game). Yet the 2009 Baltimore Ravens are not catching the same lucky breaks of the 2008 Baltimore Ravens.

Don’t take that the wrong way Ravens fans. If you cut me, I’ll bleed purple and black and I had the opportunity to watch Flacco play every home game my freshmen year as a student at UD. Still the Ravens need to get their shit together. Pronto.

It’s not every week you can loose a game and have all of your competition loose as well (to arguably the 3 of the 5 worst teams in the NFL). They’re still in it. Barely.
