Nobody Beats The Wiz…
AUDIO By TC on November 15, 2009 at 1:52 pmThe career of Wiz Khalifa is at an all-time high, literally and figuratively speaking. He’s no slacker stoner though. While fans are still catching a contact from his Burn After Rolling , he’s making power moves. First up, there’s getting fitted for his own line of caps with New Era® and then prepping for the November 24th release of his album Deal Or No Deal. Catch the buzz!

I need a How Fly Pt. 2 in ‘10.
@Amp
I second that motion!
yeah. burn after rolling was nice… but it got tired about halfway through it.
thinking this in the car today: posner beats with wiz’s verses… could be hot
no knock, i like them both.. anyone else thinkin wiz is wale light?

Hell nah. Wiz’s flow is far more easy to digest then Wale. And they rap about totally different stuff.
im sayin. thats why its wale light (lite). Wale trys to rap about “deeper” subject matter. voices and flow are exactly the same though. give them a spin back to back.
VY & CJ 3 – 0 … Who’s next?
ladell betts and hunter smith… 1-0.. who’s next?
i think that if u add wiz and curren$y
that’s wayne’s real crazy young money crew
wit drake, jae millz & the first lady miss minaj
I respect Wiz’s hustle, but his last tape was pretty weak. It had some gems on there but they were ridiculously short such as One Way and Miles and Gettin’ Up. I like Wiz when he’s actually rapping though and not crooning with the autotune.
I agree with KevinS.
But the good thing is that BAR made me give Flight School a few more spins.
^ Flight School is Wiz’s best work to date. Solo, that is. If you ask me, that should be considered dudes first full length LP. One day, we’ll look back at his catalog and consider some of the joints on there some of his best material.
Burn After Rolling was just aiight to me. I co-sign the statement that he’s best when he’s not singing. I like his flow. I’ve liked it ever since the good folks at TSS got “Say Yeah” stuck in my head a few years back (thanks).
I think the only spaced out shit/abstract music I like from him was Star Power. Heavy as hell on autotune, but he made that shit work. Speaking on Flight School … *Tries to find mp3 folder*
Wiz got Spitta on that How Fly mixtape too.
Bar for Bar, Wiz got it.
