The Thrill…
GENERAL By Beware on November 12, 2009 at 6:38 pmSince the last basketball-related post I did was lambasted, I figured I’d throw up something undisputed.
Thanks to Will “The Thrill” Bynum and his Spud Webb-like vertical, my Detroit Pistons have been plastered all over ESPN for good reason. I was watching the game live last night and actually missed this early dunk-of-the-year candidate by a split second, as I was screwing around with this friggin’ place, but luckily my man George Blaha got excited enough for all of us. Not to mention, Willy B did it AGAIN in the third (without posterizing Tyson Chandler, however).
As the homegirl Natalie likes to say over @ Need4Sheed….”That’s Bynumite!”

G. Tech baby!
Man he throws it down so hard. sick. I’ll be at the Lakers Nuggets game tomorrow!
chea!
yeah, buddy used to wreck shop down here at GT…i actually forgot dude was back in the league until this morning though.
a weekly sports discussion would be a pretty nice addition. plus i can vent the good or bad times of my hometown cavaliers
I’ve been following Will Bynum since hs, he played here in Chicago @ Crane and my school usually played his. Dude was ferocious back then, I’ve actually seen him do sicker dunks than this. Crane was stacked, their backcourt was Will Bynum and Tony Allen of the Celtics, highlights for days, and they had the classic 6′7 300lb hs power forward that nobody could defend one on one in the post and went on to be a bench player at some mid-level D1 school.
I’ll never forget when Crane faced Springfield Lanphier (based in Springfield Illinois, 3-4 hours south of Chicago) in one of those holiday hoops tournaments. One of the sickest hs games I ever seen, Crane had Allen/Bynum and Springfield had a dude you might have heard of – Andre Iguadola. Just a sick game, those 3 were killing all day, Springfield got the W in a close one.
Danm he posterized that buster Chandler.
haha fuk yeh
