Not sure if there are any future indications that you can read from this but seeing Mecca & The Soul Brother together again on stage is sight for sore eyes…and sweet sounds for the ears.

CL Smooth might be the most underrated MC from the 90s/golden era. Pete Rock got all the obvious hype, but CL’s flow was liquid. And pioneering, too.
Still don’t hear many cats rhyme like him now–that laid back conversational blending with good writing (when he’s on at least)…
