Video: KiD CuDi Performs “CuDi Zone” In Miami
GENERAL By Gotty™ on November 22, 2009 at 9:26 pmRecent footage of Scotty performing “Cudi Zone” in Miami.
I’ve already gushed over how much I impressed I am by MOTM. Go buy that disc for one of those nonbelievers who’s still walking around tombout Hip-Hop is on life support.

Hmm, don’t wanna make a broad generalization based on a few performance clips, but it SEEMS like some of these new artists are singers strictly in the studio, and let the backing tracks do a lot of the chorus work in their live show (i.e. Cudi and Drake). Say what you want about Wale, but his live show is easily one of the tops out of the freshmen.

are they selling the instrumental version yet?
^ Wale’s live show runs a very very very close second to BoB’s and I only put BoB’s above because he plays an instrument. UCB alone is worth the price of a ticket.
Cudi’s voice craps out on this performance lol. But almost every clip I’ve seen of him live, the crowd is into the music. All the way into it. To me…I dunno. that’s powerful and says something.
but I can’t front, I just went and read your piece ‘gushing’ over dude (absent homo) and the line you reference:
“I try thinkin’ bout myself as a sacrifice, just to show the kids they ain’t the only ones that’s up at night”
is pretty dope. I vibe with what you’re saying about Cudi, and I’m all about what he picked in terms of sounds on the album, but I just can’t get past the lyrics.
I was hesitant to say this but…listening to Cudi’s album the first few times reminded me of the first time I heard the music of De La & Tribe, specifically De La.
first play of the album… was not sure… but after a few spins… its good..better than Attention Deficit .. This is what Hip Hop has been to me over the years… New and different.. Try Hoodie Allen mixtape… shits a grooving.
@ zamora…..good look on that Hoodie Allen mixtape, never heard of them but very good stuff.
i finally gave the album an entire spin. Haven’t heard Attention Deficit and by judging on how long it took me to finally give CuDi a listen itll probably around summer time!
