Watching Season 3 right now, episode 4 (Amsterdam). Lester gives it too Jimmy and Kima for not following the new target. He tells Jimmy “you not worth the skin on my knuckles…I’m done with you” Jimmy tells him he is still after Stringer Bell and brings up the real estate Bell may have downtown.

After Lester says he is done with Jimmy (and Jimmy and Kima leave) he tells Pryzbylewski “to check on them fucking properties.” Classic.

10:02-12:22 on episode 4.

ARon… hmmm, that’s quite the dilemma. We all have to set our priorities. I know I’ve cut first dates short when I found out the guy didn’t listen to — nay, didn’t LIKE — Hip-Hop. So if your rundown of qualities a woman must possess goes something like…

1. cooks
2. gives good head
3. likes The Wire
4. goes to church

…then you may need to let her go. For if you love someone and let it go, and it’s meant to be, she’ll come back to you with a love of The Wire and memorized quotes in her wheelhouse. Now, if your love for her usurps your love of The Wire… well… you may just need to be prepared to watch a lot of shitty television. And three out of four qualities ain’t bad, so she’s probably good, regardless of her lack of love for The Best Show Ever. I say stick it out and pray she learns the error of her ways.

@ Complex – same thing I thought. I give them an A for effort and a C+ for execution. More “The Wire” stuff is always good.

Thing I hate is seeing some of the actors in other shows not living up to the quality of acting from the Wire. We need a show with similar aspiration – if not in content then in quality.
