“Keep Me Wondering”

The other morning, I found myself humming and snapping my fingers and could figure out the title of the track haunting my mind.
As music comes out in bulk these days, it starts getting hard to keep track of the few gems one may dig up on the musical journey here. As I brushed my teeth, it dawned on me where my early morning chants hailed from. Rockwell Knuckles. The Glow. Track 9. “Keep Me Wondering.”
After skipping through the CD, the boom bap started to knock dust off my speakers and memory and the words to the track slowly surged back. It was one of those bass heavy inspirational tracks I found myself bumping to stay awake once upon a Texas road-trip and is now a staple in my morning rotation. My fellow Red Bull enthusiast tells me it will be on his new EP, Some Kind of Wonderful. I could not be more elated.

I still think his verse on Spade’s “Her Perfume” or whatever the fuck is one of my favorite verses of the past few years. Too much fun lol.

Dope song. I remember the debut at HOT104.1 on STL HOMEJAMZ…Tef’s freestyle that night shut down the city.
