Robin Thicke Feat. Jay-Z – “Meiplé (Me I Play)”
AUDIO By Gotty™ on November 8, 2009 at 5:22 pmRobin Thicke called working with Jay-Z for “Meiplé” as “a dream come true.” If it was so important, I wonder why they created a snoozer of a track? Sure it’s very lighthearted & breezy, but there’s none of Thicke’s signature vocal stylings here, just mere talking over the track. It sounds “fun”…but not “good.” I want the panty-dropper material, not this.
With guests such as Kid CuDi, Snoop & Estelle slated for his upcoming Sex Therapy, let’s hope that Thicke puts them all on one track, gets the Hip-Hop out of the way and sticks to the script that won over heads last time around.

To be honest, this song is probably going to blow the fuck up in the clubs, with a mix or 2.
Jay-Z actually does good on this track, but put this verse over another beat and it’s great.
Robin Thicke sounds like he’s bored or something.
more like “gee i gay” …robin’s cool but this song bores…and actually saying the name of it out loud pisses me off lol
I like it.

Great work gentlemen
I fux with this. At the very least its based off different sounding shit. Breezy and fun indeed. I’m sure Robin will have the panty dropping shit elsewhere on the album…
I like it.

This track needs remix as soon as possible!
This is what I love about Robin Thicke. Dude is so eclectic and always has at least 1 or 2 funky ass tracks on his albums. His range is all over the place.
This is dope, this is that aspirational shit that every dude wants to spit to his missus….dope nonetheless.
Stick to what you do best. Is that so damn hard?
Wow, robins abiltiy to create differant sounds and fresh n hip beats is aewsome. This one is chill and cool. Very differant from whats out there now. But all robins stuff is fresh. All his songs show is depth as an artist and his beats are one of the only fresh and hip things the rnb market has right now. Yah theres alot of great signers. but robin does all his own stuff and thats what impressive about him. hell he did ( u rock my world ) for michele jackson. he wrote and producted that track when he was like 22 or 23 yrs old. Hes been one of only two white guys to hold the top track on the r n b chart. If u like his stuff. check out his unreleased tracks, sos baby, everybody is a star and superman. Just remember like in most casses. his best stuff from his last three albums have no radio play. pick up his library. If ur tring to ur woman to get in the mood and drop her panties, put on some his love songs. Most of his stuff was designed to bimp n grid with.
