Detroit has to be one of the gulliest places on the face of the globe, hands down. There’s famine-stricken regions in Africa, war zones in Southern Asia, select slums in South America and then there’s Detroit. At least that’s what Hip-Hop from that region has generally taught us. One child of the Hell pit that be that city, Mr. Obie Trice (real name, no gimmicks), had a track on his album a few years ago that described that depravity quite well that had almost slipped into the recesses of memory never to be found again.
