I believe I’m going to buy this. It’s not great or anything but I like it. I want to see more albums like this and they need to see it has some support so I’ll do my part I suppose.
I’ve got some BB bucks left. I used $10 to cop Wale (for a total of $5 :)). I got $5 left so I’ll prolly throw that towards this & AKeys. I wasn’t all the way impressed but I wanna see more shit like this too. If they gave me video & studio outtakes, I’d surely cop.
Really hope that people don’t sleep on this. Easily one of the most interesting releases of ’09. “Coochie” (Ludacris & ODB) is the only track I can say I’m not feeling at all, with “Done Did It” (NOE), “Dollaz & Sense” (Pharaohe Monch & RZA) and “Ain’t Nothing Like You” (Mos Def, Jim Jones) being among the personal favorites.

I can’t give enough credit to Dame at this point. The moves this guy is making is great for the culture. From DD172 to creativecontro.tv, to hooking up all these amazing artists…I don’t remember who said it here at TSS but it was something along the lines of Dame Dash being appointed to save black music whether he knows it or not and it’s looking like that is the truth.
