Yeah, this is the Budden I became a fan of some six years ago. While working the Georgetown/Temple basketball game yesterday, I happened to check my Twitter and saw Joey had released his rendition of Rihanna’s “Russian Roulette” (her album is impressive, by the way). Judging from the mood of the beat and the recent happenings in his life, I knew Jersey’s own was bound to be the last person to attempt to lay vocals over this.
Over the course of slightly more than five minutes, the most vocal member of Slaughterhouse answered any and all questions regarding a range of topics. Beefing with Beanie and Fab? Nahh, he’s off that. His new girl, Somaya Reece? In his own words, they’re “going to end up whatever they decide to be.” Without going into detail on everything, this is classic Budden laced with quotables galore and his own legendary style of introspective insight. However, it is the topic of his ex-ol’ lady and former star of JBTV, Tahiry, which draws the most attention.

I guess it is true what they say. Breaking up is hard to do. But honestly, what’s good with Mood Muzik 4 though?
