B.o.B Presents The Features
AUDIO By Gotty™ on November 16, 2009 at 12:18 pmI like this and find myself in agreement, so allow me to give my blog brother-in-arms Shake the e-podium.
If you remember… I attempted to light a fire under Atlantic’s ass by putting together a collection of B.o.B records that I thought could have formulated his debut album. After two killed links, the latest one is currently closing in on 10k downloads! And with the help of everyone spreading the link it seems it worked! As Atlantic has a full out campaign set for The Adventures of Bobby Ray (which is scheduled for an April release). I’ve said it countless times and will continue to do so, this man is one of the most talented artists doing it right now. And I’m glad to inform ya’ll that there is a huge record on the horizon (I gotta keep that a secret for now) and a single dropping sometime this month (and hitting radio shortly after). Looks like Bobby Ray’s time is now…
With that said, I wanted to put together another project for his fans, etc. A collection of records that dude has been featured on, etc. And just like last time, I kept all my URLs (outside of ArtByShake) and tags off as I know some of ya’ll sites won’t post with them there. And the whole point of this is to spread good music. So hit the jump and enjoy…

cant wait
Dear Atlantic,
Hurr up & release the album.
Thanks
It’s a shame he had to leave tags off for people to post it… & co-sign what Gotty said.
Reason #4329 why the recording industry is a mess. They have a super talent on their roster and are doing nothing with him.
^^^FOREVER truth

But why rush an album into stores if they have no idea how to properly promote it?
The net knows B.O.B, but I don’t know how many people offline do.
AmP: I agree with you; but it doesn’t seem like he was a priority. I hope he gets the full backing of the record label. My point was that Shake shouldn’t of had to attempt to put a fire under Atlantic to work his project.

Yeah, that’s the thing, they really don’t. I was talking to my homegirl who was exciting the cast of The Game was on The Mo’Nique Show and she was like “And the info says some country singer named Bobby Ray was on the info.”
I was like yooooooooooooooo! Hit up BRich and everything.
In instances like that, I can side and respect Atlantic for the decision to slow burn him. He’s much too talented, young and destined to be boxed, shipped, and packaged overnight UPS style. Asher Roth’s skin color afforded him that opportunity. B.O.B. is building his career brick by brick like the boss lady say.

What he did.
I’d rather wait for the situation to be right then see Atlantic push out an album that gets overlooked by the masses.
B.O.B deserves the best look possible.
I am all for waiting and taking the right steps; as long as there is a sembelance of a plan. Hell I am not a marketing expert, I am just hoping that Atlantic realize what they have in B.O.B.
Did any of you hear that Wale only sold 3000 copies of his album 1st week.?

I could see that coming from deep though lol.
They should put out that song with jazmine Sullivan as a single, cause I think…
World Tour > Pretty Girls & Chilin
He still needs to do the last 2 verses for Apple Pie.
man im loving BOBs shit right about now…better late then never.
World tour is a dope track. But I didn’t find fault with his single selection. Hopefully he does better than what has been rumored.
I don’t think the first two singles were necessarily bad…well, Chillin was awful IMO. But they weren’t really representative of the album or of Wale.
He just turned 21, dude is going places.
Nice. Props to Shake for getting the ball rollin and an April release? Even better, just in time to roll the windows down.

So y’all want dude to get the major push because he is mad talented. But you want the label to “take they time and do it right”,.. just faster then its going right now?
How about this.. lets have him get out a good debut album and let dudes talent shine. How is he going to get the buzz (and more importantly the backing) to sell records.. if he ain’t selling records already?
