Aside from this and Usher’s new single, I can’t tell which one holds the coveted title of “best leaked track of the day.” Regardless, it’s about that time again. That time being getting ready for a new album from everyone’s favorite trapstar, Young Jeezy. If this record is any indication of what TM 103 will sound like, Young’s already got my $9.99 first week.

Call him out on “lyrics” or “substance” or whatever the hell else critics use to downplay another’s music, homie consistently puts out great-to-exceptional work with each album. “I Got This” finds Jeezy spewing the raps we’ve all come to know and love over the years, but he does so with soul, compassion and intensity. Reflecting back to his days before rap, the constant thought of anothers not appreciating his music and painting a portrait of himself are just a few of things Young does during this four minute confessional.

In the meantime, until TM 103 finds its way to shelves, I’ll continue to play The Recession as if it just dropped last week.
