Most mornings I wake up to approximately 40-50 unread emails with approximately half of those being mp3s. The only way to deal with them? Look for one with names I know attached to them and that’s how we all arrive here together @ “Sleep.” The featured artist is a youngblood named WarrenJae, who does a formidable job holding it down for two verses on this first leak from his What Dreams May Come project.

But the verse that which will most likely catch your ear is that of Tre. Always one for unabashed honesty, Tre takes his place on the track to relish upon the words of his grandfather, his nightly prayers and a violent version of Emmitt Till, even comparing his dreams to be as “sweet as Paul Pierce in a zone.” While I can’t see the man’s dreams, I can say the Liquor Store Mascot’s verses are definitely getting on that level.
