Wale – “Inhibitions” x “Contemplate”
AUDIO By Gotty™ on October 13, 2009 at 9:41 pmSince Superbad blew super chunks, Wale’s debut is my last highly anticipated entry for 2009. And while I liked “Fly Away” much better than this Pharrell-assisted chune, I’m still calling this cat the one to watch from XXL’s now infamous Class of 2009. That’s not to say there isn’t a place for this joint because Wale manages to channel his version of Luther Campbell into the lyrics, detailing the freaks that a young rapper might encounter on the road to riches & diamond rings.

As a bonus, take this tagged up version of “Contemplate” featuring a choice sampling of Ri-Ri’s “Question Existing.” Featured on DJ Haze & DJ Capcom’s Leaders Of The New Empire mixtape, it’s definitely the keeper out of these two tracks as the rapper does his double-time spit over a moody beat that matches the words.

“Since Superbad blew super chunks, Wale’s debut is my last highly anticipated entry for 2009.”
This is a baffling sentence for so many reasons.
why? Because Boosie & Wale were the two albums I’ve waited on for this year?
I like what I like, even if they’re polar opposites in style.
Wait, you didnt like that Boosie G?
“Contemplate” is supposedly gonna be on Attention: Deficit…
Did not like Superbad. Majorily dissapointed.
This dude did NOT hold his weight last night, I felt embarrassed for him!
I can only listen to boosie for about 20 minutes befo’ I my ears bleed…
Loving both of them, can’t wait for his album.
Invalid file for the Pharrell track.
