From what I understood from all this, it looks like the Rat was that drunk, rude Kanye all along. Once he was taken out forcefully, and once the Rat realized Kanye didn’t want him/didn’t need him anymore, being based on the approval and opinions of others and the desire to be wanted, the Rat killed himself. Thus, Kanye was getting rid of the part of him that was that Rat.
