Another day, another Timbaland leak. Who’s really surprised at this point? Anywho, this particular ditty looks to be the bread n’ butter from Shock Value II a.k.a. main reason to actually purchase the album. Drizzy Drake provides all vocal highlights with a nifty verse and chorus over Timbo’s hypnotic arrangement of high-priced studio equipment. Gotta love it.

This track is pretty fresh sounds like a fusion between DJ Pooh’s No Idea and the soundtrack for the commodore 64 version of Robocop.

Drizzy is over saturating himself at this point.
Hustle and record songs 24/7… just do not continue to put them out there constantly. Because as much as I like dude (II) and was looking forward to the world hearing his official album…
I am beginning to think that “So Far Gone” should have been an album as it was hot from beginning to end with very little faults (depending upon whether or not you are one of those who does not like the R&B angle – I personally think it works ;)
Aubrey had it perfect production-wise within his own camp. And I know this is for S.V. II, but 40 and “team” had it right the first time out – something sonically new and fresh… which is necessary in music.
Now you have the budget and clout (i.e. bartering power) to get some of the biggest production names…
But you lost what made you gain… and everything begins sounding the same.

the thing with SFG is..if it weren’t for some of the “mixtape” songs, he wouldn’t be as accepted(esp. down here. folks bugged out when the heard him go over June 27th)

I was starting to think dude was getting a big head (pause) with all the hype and if you only listened to his guest spots you’d think the same thing.
But songs like “Fear” and “Say Something” are closer to the Drake you find on So Far Gone. As long as he keeps the Young Money shtick to a minimum and continues to make the same kind of music that got him here, he’s gonna be fine.
i wish u could get the track w/o timbaland lol – but drake is definently killin shit right now if i was him i would b done wit features for now an focus on bringing this album out – o yea when wayne is in jail hes gon to b a rich man cus when he comes bak home to drake album bein out hes gon b in the middle of drake mania sweeping the nation
