Thom Yorke – “Hearing Damage”
AUDIO By Darius Sinclair™ on October 13, 2009 at 3:05 pmThis year’s most anticipated film just got more hype, courtesy of the music set to accompany it. New Moon’s soundtrack seems to be keeping that electronica flavor with it’s lead single “Hearing Damage.” The kicks and high hats Thom Yorke uses have a Hip-Hop feel, but the synths and ambient sounds take you right back into outer space. More music like this is why we keep looking forward to Twilight movies. Well…at least I do.

Speak for yourself Darius! :P
Yeah, I dig the track, but no way am I going to check for the Twilight movies.
The Lost Boys, NEAR DARK and Fright Night are more my kind of vampire flicks, plenty of blood and suspense plus they emo-free!
C’mon now. Lost Boys?? That might be what started EMO.
twilight aside, thom yorke has always been a fantastic, creative ARTIST. whether it’s anything he did with radiohead or even his solo “the eraser’ lp, it’s good stuff.
and in case some of you didn’t know, the old CRS (kanye, lupe, pharrell) song used thom yorke’s the eraser as the beat.
C’mon now. Lost Boys?? That might be what started EMO.

No way, wasn’t the EMO genesis courtesy of Emo Philips and The Cure? :)
The Lost Boys was pure 80s power rock and tiger beat teen rebel type affair.
First time I watched that movie back in the day I was completely blown away by everything about it, so awesome.
I still think it rawwwks! No other vampire movie comes close it, Blade 2, possibly, but that’s a different type of beast altogether.
Fright Night and NEAR DARK are cult classics in my book as well.
When vampires were actually scary and had character unlike some of these teeny bop lovey dovey vamps we get nowadays.
Salems Lot should get a mention too, that gave me a sleepless night or two back in the day.
good looks on this DS…
“let the right one in” is the best vampire movie.
