International zone coastin’ a while ago, I saw this over @ KN’s and it was the first time I’d seen a picture of the actual tape posted anywhere in this digital age. The mix itself? Had it, but seeing the actual tape spurred me to thinking “Man I need to post that joint.” Well, I forgot obviously.
But while letting my iTunes shuffle the other day, it popped up in the rotation. Boom! Here you go. The beauty of it is Jazzy Jeff’s providing the pace to The Roots’ songs, inserting his scratches into the mix to give the material a whole new sound & feel.

Man I got that tape at my house. They came down here back in the day and passed them out at the venue. I dont even have a tape player to play it on and its been loongggg forgotten until now.
