Despite my high regard for Tech N9ne, when I briefly skimmed through his new “Show Me A God” video last week I couldn’t get into it. For an artist I’ve wanted to see shine bright for awhile, I’d selfishly anticipated the catchy crossover hit that would finally put Nina’s career over the top. Instead, I was disappointed when I wound up getting another preachy, flow-fest I couldn’t even decipher off rip as the first single from his upcoming album K.O.D..

Not one to trust my occasionally flustered instincts, I humbly went back and watched the relatively blah visual the entire way through and realized how retarded I can be.

‘Another preachy, flow-fest’? Yeah, you dumb ass. That’s why you like Tech in the first place. Despite the mediocre video, “Show Me God” not only addresses touchy topics (II) such as religion, his mother’s health issues and the prophesied 2012 catastrophes; but this is same sinister rapid-fire delivery and wide array of flows that deliver the tortured and brutal honesty that have made Tech N9ne the independent icon he is today, and simultaneously kept most Clear Channel stations from ever playing his music.

Ah yes…FTI, indeed.

Please support this man when this Halloween treat above drops on October 27. At this point…he doesn’t need it. Just do it to better yourself. He’s murdering fans for money touring with Slaughterhouse and you’d be straight Eddie Griffin not to attend.
